-wrap-mode: nowrap;">The water pump serves as the core power component of the engine cooling system. Key information is as follows:
Core Function
Driven by the engine crankshaft via a belt, it circulates coolant between the engine water passages and radiator. This transfers heat generated during engine operation to the radiator for dissipation, ensuring the engine operates within an optimal temperature range.
Compatible Models and Engines
Compatible Engines: Weichai WD615/WP10, Sinotruk MC07, and other heavy-duty diesel engines
Compatible Models: Sinotruk Howo, Sinotruk Sanda, Shaanxi Delong, and other heavy-duty trucks

Product Features
Structure & Materials: Centrifugal water pump with cast iron housing and impeller made of engineering plastic/cast aluminum. Multi-groove pulley at top connects to crankshaft belt to drive pump shaft rotation.
Working Principle: The pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate. Under centrifugal force, coolant is flung toward the pump housing edge and forced through the outlet into the engine cooling passages. Simultaneously, a vacuum forms at the impeller center, drawing low-temperature coolant from the radiator inlet to complete the circulation cycle.
Key Components: A mechanical seal is installed between the pump shaft and housing to prevent coolant leakage. Some models integrate a thermostat interface to coordinate control of the coolant circulation path (small loop/large loop).
Maintenance Points: Regularly check belt tension (to prevent slippage causing insufficient pump speed). If coolant leakage or abnormal pump noise occurs, replace the mechanical seal or the entire pump assembly. After prolonged use, clean impurities from the impeller to prevent reduced flow rate.
